So, last time Kym fell hopelessly for the woman with the worst traits in Dragon Valley. She´s also an elder.

Steven has been busy at the alchemy station. We have a cure for age!

(Although there´s no cure for sims searching for the darkest corner on the lot, to do something important.)

Whooo, birthday! Is that a backwards birthday, or something?

Kym gets bored halfway through and wanders off. Go back!

 

Teagan is single – no surprise there. Kym quickly changes that.

Nathan visited the spooky house earlier and was turned into a ghost. He now floats off, to do a show. Hi, Jaron!

The audience is not that impressed this time. Probably there´s no real thrill in a ghost doing lifethreatening things.

 

Sprinkler buddies!

Teagan lives with her dog in her own house. I move Steven and Star into her home and Teagan get´s to live here!

Oh, and someone is feeling quite sick.

Teagan: Get out! I´m trying to barf here!

Teagan: Seriously, this people! It´s like a zoo in here!

Teagan: Oh, hey, I´m pregnant! That was quick!

Well, we have kind of a tight schedule. Shaoran and Miles are already children.

Kym tries a new makeover with Kisa – it fails again. Now she really looks like a clown! I think, the dog is not amused! His name is Gulliver, by the way.

Nathan and Joe are cute, as always.

 

 

They do stuff like this autonomously, all the time.

Which is why Nathan isn´t happy about Teagan badmouthing his husband.

While he´s sitting right there, by the way.

Pauline has her adult birthday!

No midlife crisis! Yay!

The afterlife seems to be stressfull.

It is the first time, that Paul and Violetta are out together.

Paul: Ew, a ghost!

Paul: Oh, hi there, dear!

They don´t interact any more, but Violetta doesn´t faint either.

Steven and Paul have a chat about cooking.

And proud grandpa Steven boasts with Miles.

Nathan arrives early for a show and plays a bit with his witchcraft.

Then he does his magician show. He´s so cool.

Joe retires with some random guy to celebrate.

It´s another birthday. They will be eating cake for eternity.

He rolls clumsy.

Don´t know exactly, who this is, but her last name is Mithrillen. She wants a „rebellious“ wardrobe. I think, we did good.

She´s still a teen, but I let Kym chat with her for a while. We still need a spouse for him. And those genes are awesome.

… what do you mean, cradle-robber?

Those people have a serious leaf-heap problem. I don´t think, they can open their own frontdoor anymore.

Kym manages to fit it all in this waste basket. I want one of those!

We have kind of a bed confusion, so Kym has to bunk with his cousin. No problem, they are still good friends.

And has a chat with Miles. Who should be in bed, I think.

Last birthday for a while. Star ages up to elder.

I thought, I could cake Amber, too, but she already aged up. Out of synch, like Steven and Joe.

At least I can improve her outfit.

Young Mithrillen lady is invited. And yes, that´s the formal outfit I gave her.

But the important sim is standing right in the middle, thinking of Kym.

I seriously think, townies can only wohoo, when they are at a party.

 

Star doesn´t like it.

But she will cope.

I gave her back her hair. Still kind of miffed about the ridicolous small amount of clothing for elders.

Star is one of the sims  I more or less ignore – she´s kind of boring (sorry, dear). She reached her lifetime wish of golden tongue, golden fingers with the help of some strategically thrown elixiers of jar of potent friendship, and reached the top of the musical career. So she´s actually a rock star. But I turned off the celebrity system, so no paparazzi.

Kisa in the backround got a „bad makeover“ by Kym. I can´t fix it, even with mastercontroler, so she runs around like a clown half of the time. The second attempt failed, too.

Joe: So, pray tell, for whom did you make this drinks, husband?

Nathan: Huh?

Nathan: I made them for us, of course!

Joe: Oh. Of course. Silly me!

And then disaster strikes! Kind of.

I suddenly noticed, Kym had the „first kiss“ and „first love“ moodlets, and was like „huh? When did that happen? And who is the lucky girl?“

So yeah. This is her.

Teagan MacAnna, a premade sim of Dragon Valley. In my game she´s named MacAnna-MacGrath, which means she has to be married to a MacGrath somewhere in her life. Probably ate him in their wedding night. She´s evil, mean spirited, a genius, inappropriate and dislikes children. Her lifetime wish is empress of evil. The inappropriate trait probably made her kiss Kym.

Kym: *rolls absurd amount of Teagan-related wishes“

Uhm. You sure, sweetheart? Beside her character, she´s ancient. Could drop any minute.

Kym: Yes.

Oh, well. That could be interesting.

Great party, indeed.

Nathan opens a portal in a wardrobe while lamenting the damage of the chinese gnome.

I bought the wardrobe just because I wanted to try this.

Nathan has some adventures in fairy land..

… and comes back to a game of „who feeds the toddler“. The gnome is still broken.

Joe doesn´t mind at all, that Nathan is now an elder.

Kisa finds some tiberium in some of the space rocks she keeps braking.

But I moved her and Liang out and Steven and Star back in.

And it´s Steven´s birthday!

 

He doesn´t look thrilled. Perhaps it´s the jacket.

I´ll fix that.

Steven: Thanks! I can´t breath!

Joe and Nathan try the other thing sims can do in wardrobes.

Pauline chooses this moment to go to bed.

Pauline: Eh, I defenitely didn´t hear that.

Pauline: Or see that. Guys!

They both emerge buck-naked and laugh their head off.

 

Nathan: Wanna try that again?

Joe: Sure!

Pauline: Get OUT!

Kisa seems a bit miffed. Or perhaps I feel guilty at moving her out. She and Liang got married shortly after this party. So maybe it´s nerves.

Kisa: It´s just, that my program forces me to play an instrument at a party! I´m no virtuoso! It sounds awfull!

Oh.

Steven loves being a granddad.

And it´s another birthday.

Those two seem to be quite happy with their kind of relationship. Pauline actually never rolled a wish to marry Jovan. So they stay girlfriend/boyfriend, living in different houses, and happily jump each others bones whenever they meet.

 

Oh my. I see some broken hearts in this one´s future. He rolled equestrian, but I don´t think, we have room for a horse.

And there´s another cake.

Joe: Should I be doing this, while Miles is crying?

Joe: Uh, I don´t know. How do I look?

Nathan: Still hot!

He does! Those eyes are awesome. Pity, that Kym didn´t inherit them.

The silver fox brigade, lovingly gazed upon by the younger generation.

Ah, well, sims.

Nathan and Liang are having a conversation about Shaoran.

I couldn´t come up with one, though.

Liang looks slightly worried. But Liang always looks worried.

I kinda think, Shaoran has Kisa´s black hair, rather than Liang´s.

There is a burglary. The police officer just stands uselessly around, so Nate has to safe the day.

The arrested burglar then stays next to the police car, while the officer checks the house. Just like real life.

We need a wife for Kym. All his clients love him, but are married, mostly with children, or elders. I love nraas storyprogression, I really do, but it seems to snatch all the eligible spouses.

Little Miles has his birthday!

Steven is happy to be at the house again.

Little grumpy Miles makes sure, that everyone else gets grumpy too.

I think he got Star´s hair and eyebrow colour. And his dad´s slighty pale skintone.

A toddler plays with the new dollhouse! Yay!

Nathan has to do all the repairs, because it looks so cool.

Kym continues to dazzle his customers.

This career is fun, because you can really improve the appearance of the townies. But it really slows down playtime, because of all the time you spend in CAS. Also, it´s kinda broken. Kym can´t take photos anymore, even if the customer is happy. I hope, he gets to fullfill his lifetime wish!

He travels all around town. This is a pretty house!

Pauline shows some weird maternal behaviour. She rolls all the „teach the xy skill“ wishes, but she rather lets her son scream his head off, than take him out of the cot.

Nathan has his elder birthday.

 

 

Nathan: How do I look?

Joe: Still hot!

Those two really always look at each other. Most sims are pretty wonky with eye contact, but Nathan and Joe manage it just fine. They also spend a lot of time in each others company. It´s so cute!

The party is a disaster. But Amber had fun.

Steven, that´s not your grandchild.

Steven: He´s related to me somehow. Besides, Jaron stole Miles.

He did. Miles is delighted.

Liang wants some snuggles, too.

My baby got old! Still dashing, though.

Nathan transformed something into a fairy damsel. Such a usefull sim!

One of our pet guests totally scratched up the couch. We´ll need to replace it.

Kisa is always the first at Shaoran´s cot.

I think, I never properly introduced Liang Yat Sen. He´s a premade sim from China. His traits are never nude, neat, handy, good and easily impressed. His lifetime wish is leader of the free world. He also has already 9 skillpoints in athletics and is rather frighteningly muscled. Apart from that, he´s a rather nice sim.

He´s also quite bi. I noticed his „attractive company“ moodlet around Kym and checked his preferences with mastercontroler- he has some really high numbers for both genders. How he managed to do that, after I safed him to the library and added him to the town, I don´t know. Normally, all preferences are set back to 0/0.

Kym is straigth as a ruler, though. Besides, you have a girlfriend now, Liang. And a son.

Said son is growing up!

 

Ooh, what a cutie! I was a bit disappointed, that he is no fairy, but it´s not that important. That is Liang´s eye shape, I think, but he got his grandma Amber´s grey eyes (which she got from her dad Paul), and are those Violetta´s lips? Perhaps?

Jaron thinks, his grandson is adorable, too.

I feel a bit bad, that Jaron never got to raise his own child…

Jaron: Well, you should!

BUT you raised your own wife!

Jaron: … true.

Jovan O´Reilly is also a young adult now, so…

… those two can have a little fun.

He stays the night and plays with the cats. Good guy, that sim.

He won´t be moving in, though….

… and I already had to move out Steven and Star, which are now living in Amber and Jaron´s house. Steven is not happy about it. I even added another room for them!

… perhaps it´s the gigantic dog.

Kym makes a visit and invites himself to dinner.

And Pauline discovers that she´s pregnant in the worst lit spot on the lot.

It´s fullmoon and Kisa is a bit confused. Pauline doesn´t care.

Shaoran loves his drum! The other members of the household not so much.

Success! We have a purple dragon! His name is Phil.

Kym: So, how is being dead, gramps?

Paul: Well, you don´t have to do the dishes ever again!

Being pregnant doesn´t stop Pauline from playing an instrument everywhere.

Kym progresses in the styling career. He can now do makeovers.

The people love him!

Well, this one doesn´t. But perhaps she´s eternaly grumpy because of her name. It´s Reginald. That´s a boys name, yes?

Pauline: … I want to go to the hospital!

Safe and fast transport to the hospital.

Little Miles rolled grumpy (like his granddad!) and loves the outdoors.

I somehow have no pictures of Kym growing up to young adult. Here´s one of his graduation instead. He rolled bot-fan, and because he did not have a lifetime wish yet, I chose one from the provided list. He now wants to become a fashion phenomenon. I soon discovered, that this clashes with his can´t stand art trait. Every time he sits on the drawing table, he get´s a bad moodlet. Wtf, EA?

Kisa autonomously breaks spacerocks. A lot. As a result, there are gems everywhere.

That´s a pink diamond in the upper left corner. Go ahead, Kisa dear.

And a bodyless female sim. Spooky.

While his dads enjoy themselves, Kym breaks up with his romantic prom interest.

She´s pretty angry.

Well, there are other fish to… style.

This fish sim is married with children. Pitty.

This customer is very happy with Kym´s styling. Though he doesn´t try the pumps.

Star´s „naked“ hair actually makes sense here.

Nathan is now able to repair and improve everything with witchcraft. Which is a lot more entertaining than the usual way!

He creates a portal to another dimension. (Anyone thinking of Stargate?)

It´s just pop-up text like in the catacombs, but funny!

And now I admit to a bit of cheating. I saved some chinese households to the library and moved them to empty houses in Dragon Valley. But I just couldn´t be bothered to hunt potential spouses all through the town, just to find out, that story progression has married them to some cougars. So I just added Liang Yat Sen to the family.

I did not force a relationship in any way. Without his interfering mum, Liang and Kisa got on like a house on fire.

And commited relationship.

Posting this, it seems rushed, but it were actually several sim-days of gameplay.

Despite his dislike of the drawing board, Kym does some cool pictures.

Kisa, are you unwell?

Kisa: This is all your fault.

You may be right about that.

But see? Now you are happy!

Steven and Star don´t get that much screen time, but they are also adorable with each other.

 

Pet invasion! Time to clear the caches!

All very tired.

Kisa is in labour, Liang thinks of his cousin-in-law (is that a thing?) and Nathan laments the difficult relationship of his son with the drawing board. Or something.

It´s a boy! His name is Shaoran. He rolls clumsy and easily impressed. That´s cute, as long as he´s small.

Kym makes a baby mat.

This looks cute, but I think, that thing is kinda bugged. It takes ages to order a sim to actually lay the baby on the mat, and as soon as he is on it, every sim in the house queues up „put baby in cot“. I think, the reason is, that the noboo is on the floor – and yes, sims tend to plop their babies on the floor, as long, as there is no cot. If there is one, the child is placed in it.

So, OMG, baby on the floor – pick it up!! Everyone, drop everything!

I used it once, I think.

We bought the martial arts training stuff in China. Kisa is disciplined, so she uses them on free will.

And lifetime wish achieved! Yay!

Now she can relax with her cousins.

They are pretty good friends, especially Kym and Pauline.

Speaking of Pauline… it´s her birthday!

This is Kym´s romantic interest, that he aquired at prom. I should have written down her name.

Well, at least I can give her a new outfit.

And Kym thinks, she´s boring. The prom RIs are mostly annoying. Poor girl, it´s not your fault!

It´s a garden party!

 

Pauline rolled brooding. She wants to become a creature-robot cross breader, like her grandpa. I think, she rolled it as a child, when she saw a ghost, it doesn´t really fit her traits (virtuoso, couch potato, perfectionist, vegetarian, brooding).

Garden parties are really relaxed, because there are few routing issues. I should do them more often. Just have to work on the lighting…

She has Violetta´s eyes, nose and mouth, but her mum Star´s face shape and the orange IF eyebrowes.

I like her. If a sim can be level-headed, Pauline is the one.

Nice graduation in the rain.

I bought a snow cone machine for Pauline´s birthday. Now I´m reluctant to sell it, ´cause…

… Steven does this faces when eating one.

Nathen rolled the wish to do a conversion ritual. He transformed an apple into a death fish!! I truely love this guy.

Second try is a shark. Ah, well.

Next try. We have tons of life fruit.

A seed. Okay.

I wanted to plant the seed to see what would grow out of it, but of course, I promptly forgot.

The couples enjoy a bit of dancing on love day.

It sure got Nathan and Joe in the mood.

Kym: Ewww, dads, get a room! You are so embarassing!

Being a teenager with such lovey-dovey parents must be tough.

Steven and Star with their daughter. They grow up so fast!

It´s awesome! I need a toddler!

Well, enough of that. We need a holiday!

In China. I love, love, love this world.

I chose Kisa, Nathan, Joe and Steven. It´s very relaxing to play with only four sims!

Those two want to sparr.

Steven has no interest in martial arts, so he handles the shopping and fruit harvesting.

Although I did not want you to bring a dragon. They are glitchy as hell.

Kisa: I wanted to show her the land of her forefathers.

I thought, a chinese partner for Kisa would be nice. This is Liang Yat Sen.

Kisa: So, how do you think about marrying into a kind of legacy?

Liang: Uuhmm…

I don´t know, Kisa. This one seems a bit dull.

Joe really hit it off with Zhan Su.

But despite the heart-farting, they stick strictly to friendy interactions.

Same with Kisa.

Maybe a good thing. I´ve seen Zhan in several legacies, he´s a really nice guy, but it probably would be weird.

Meanwhile, Steven wants to go home.

Steven: You made me phone Star, and now I´m homesick.

Relax, it´s just two more days.

Uh, no, I don´t like this one. He has shifty eyes.

Kisa visits Liang Yat Sen.

They have a nice chat, but his mom keeps interfering.

Don´t you want your son to become a legacy spouse??

Kisa gets an opportunity to sparr with this old guy, Shen Hong. He and his son Shing both seem to like her.

She kicks his ass though.

I kind of gave up the spouse hunting after that, Kisa just isn´t the woman to hurry these things. So I kinda cheated (well not really. It´s not cheating if it´s in the game mechanics, right?), and saved a few of the chinese households to the library, to plop them down in Dragon Valley, when we get home.

The others went fishing…

… and a bit of treasure hunting.

I really thought, Nathan would get completly hysteric because of the bugs.

He so often shows his neurotic trait, that I kinda forget, that he´s also brave.

No problem at all. He found some nice stuff.

And I somehow forgot to take pictures after that, until they arrived home. Steven misses the limo, because he gets one of those annoying date calls.

Home, sweet home.

Here we have Pauline doing the laundry. Good girl.

Aaand Joe getting his lifetime wish. Missed the shot again. Sigh.

Now that Pauline is a teen, she can jam with her Dad. Steven is pleased.

But there´s Violetta! Hi Violetta!

Violetta: Rocking chair!

Kisa is awake and starts chatting.

Sybil gets petted. Then Vi drifts back into her urn. *sniffle*

Moving on.

There´s a cellar under the library! I sent Kisa to read a bit, and because it´s fullmoon, she wanders off instead and discovers two dragon eggs.

I let her talk red dragon talk to them.

*Poof!* Green dragons. Drat.

Well, I don´t know, what Kisa said to them in the library.

I then bought an egg and it worked! A red dragon! His name is Kero-chan.

Kym has his birthday!

Kym: I can´t go to school like this!

Right you are. I´ll fix your clothes. And I think, that´s your dad´s hair, even though it suits you.

Kisa´s lifetime wish is physical perfection, so she has to master the martial arts and athletic skill.

Kym looks like his dad. Well, like Joe. Obviously not Nathan.

He rolled can´t stand art, by the way.

This game is very popular at the moment.

Steven reached the top of the education career. But one of the smiley faces (the one for lectures) is always the angry red one, even though I sent him to school for lectures even on his free days. And he always comes home stressed. So I let him quit. He seems happy about that!

Pauline visits her friend, the one with the nice genes.

This is Jovan O´Reilly. He´s good, never nude, charismatic, a schmoozer and a heavy sleeper, and one of this traits he will get later, when he becomes a young adult, but I don´t know, which. So there.

His family is weird.

They move around a lot, so Pauline gets her first kiss in the garden, with an audience. But she seems happy.

I wanted her to grab him, before story progression got him a girlfriend, so it got quite late. Pauline was escorted home by a police officer and an umbrella.

Pauline gets chewed out by her mom. Hey, it was my fault!

Star: Well, then I forgive her!

She then sends her to bed.

Good night!

It´s Kisa´s graduation day! The whole family in one car!

It takes ages.

Everyone is tired and hungry, when they emerge again.

Kisa tosses her diploma anyway. Once again, I forgot, what she was most likely to do in her life. Bad simmer.

Violetta takes a nap in the rocking chair. And then…

Violetta: Hey, I´m see-through. Cool.

No routing problems for Grimmi this time.

Kisa is so distraught, she changes into an outfit, I definitley did not design for her.

Violetta is ready, though.

 

And then Sybil did something, and I MISSED IT! Gah.

Anyway, look, who´s back!

Violetta: Ooh, I don´t feel so good…

Violetta: Wait, what?

Violetta: I´m… I´m alive!

She then promptly faints.

When she recovers, she consoles the cats. First Susan…

…than the heroine of the day!

Sybil: You were a ghost!

Violetta: Thanks to you, I´m not!

After all the commotion, Steven tries to get back at Nathan.

Star is having nothing of it, though.

I forgot to mention, Kisa rolled supernatural-fan as her last trait. She now gets all loopy under the full moon.

Violetta: Breakfast is so much better, when you died!

I watched her like a hawk.

She takes a lot of fotos with other people…

… wants to play a game…

… has a sneaky rendezvous with her dead husband in the treehouse..

… visits the fortuneteller…

(I had to build the lot to fullfil this wish. Dragon valley is pretty, but you have to add all the extra lots.)

… skates on a frozen pond…

… and dies again on Pauline´s birthday party, two days later. The poor girl has the worst luck with her birthdays.

A lot more audience this time.

Again, she accepts her fate with grace.

 

 

We still have a birthday to celebrate.

 

Pauline rolled vegetarian.

 

I think, I will make a proper graveyard in the future. For now, they stay like this.
